Your library stays under your control
IPTVNexus is a media player for playlists you choose. It does not require an IPTVNexus account. The app stores playlist settings, channel and program information, favorites, playback history, search indexes, and player preferences on your device. Passwords entered separately for a provider are stored in the device Keychain. Playlist and stream URLs may themselves contain provider credentials and are stored with your local library.
Connections to your providers
When you import, refresh, browse, or play content, the app contacts the playlist, guide, artwork, and media servers specified by that content. These services receive requests needed to provide their content, including your IP address and any credentials required by your provider. Their privacy practices apply to those requests. HTTPS protects supported connections in transit; a provider using HTTP does not provide that protection. Optional sample content also connects to the servers listed in its playlist.
Optional iCloud sync
Favorites and watch-progress sync is off by default. If you enable it, the app stores synchronization identifiers, favorite status, playback position and duration, watched status, and activity/update dates in your private iCloud database. Identifiers are derived from provider/account and content information using hashes. Hashing does not make this data anonymous. The app does not upload playlist URLs, provider passwords, titles, artwork, or program guides to this database.
Your devices use your iCloud account to synchronize this information. The app's developer does not receive the contents of your private database through an IPTVNexus server. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional Pro purchase. The app checks Apple's verified purchase entitlement and caches whether Pro is unlocked. It does not receive your payment-card details. Purchase processing and restoration are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
Advertising and diagnostics
The app includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It does not automatically send library or playback logs to an IPTVNexus analytics server. Device diagnostics and App Store/TestFlight reports may be shared through Apple's services according to your settings. Logs or screenshots you choose to send to support may contain provider details; remove passwords and private URLs before sharing them.
Retention and removal
Local library information remains until you remove it or the operating system removes app data or caches. You can remove playlist sources, unfavorite titles, and remove entries or a series from playback history. Deleting a playlist source does not cancel your provider account or subscription.
With sync enabled, history removal and favorite changes are synchronized to your other devices. Synchronization records and removal timestamps may remain so that older devices do not restore removed activity. Turning sync off stops future sync requests; it does not erase previously stored iCloud data or the local sync queue. Deleting the app does not by itself guarantee deletion of iCloud data or Keychain items. Apple provides separate iCloud storage controls.
Questions and changes
For privacy questions, email support@almeidaindustries.com. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments and use them to respond to your request. Do not send provider passwords or private playlist URLs. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle your request and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Website visits
Our website host receives information needed to serve pages, such as your IP address and browser request details, and may retain server logs for operation and security. The website uses Google Fonts, so your browser may connect to Google to load fonts. These website requests are separate from using the app. The IPTVNexus pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts.
Policy updates
